The movie is almost complete garbage. It starts off on a semi-decent foot (thought with very cheap opening credits) in the 1960s with the first of its three simple, and carefree love stories. It's a love triangle in its simplest form which is novel only because of the costumes and interesting sets of the era. The second story in 2012 is 150% vapid, except for the pretty good (though a little too exaggerated in one scence) use of technology in our lives. And the last story had the most appeal in the trailers (courtesy Ms Chopra looking so fine) but is executed with childishness and stupidity. Plus, I hated the Javed character. He was slimy to the nth degree, save his predictable climactic sacrifice. I have always hated Kunal Kohli's films, but never watched them in the theatre either. Thought I'd finally give him the benefit of the doubt and watch one of his products in the cinema, and boy do I regret it. Thank God this one was only a little over 2 hours long.
