I came with low expectations and was blown away. I ordinarily hate the songy frozenesque musical cartoon boy meets girl movies. This has an integral musical theme and somehow manages to keep it from becoming overburdening. It is Pureley Mexican, but culturally educational at the same time. I really wish C-Clock had half point ratings because this is worthy of a 8.5. I wished I had seen it in 3-D, I think I lost the something that would have made me give it a 9. This is a cartoon for Adults and kids alike, although I don't think wee ones 3-7ish would get much out of it and might be turned off by the dark back plots. I Thought this was a clever borderline masterpiece that was woefully under rated by the Pros! If you are a hopeless romantic, see this, you'll melt!!!
