Denzel Washington takes on the Russian Mob and woe unto the Russian mob. To be fair, McCall is a resourceful avenger; he is a sort of McGuyver of uber-vigilantes. He is able to make use of various props (eg. Corkscrew, weedwhacker, chains, light sockets etc.) to dispatch the villains and therefore it is appropriate that the final battle takes place in a huge home builder warehouse. The film alternates between boredom and ultra-violence. If this is what passes for entertainment then woe unto our present-day society. Take a pass and stay home after visit to a lumberyard and erect a fence or a bird house or something.
