A brilliant movie in a Hitchcockian style that stands high ad above most political thrillers of these days. The cast is perfect even down to Kim Katrall. The story is fairly complicated and a lot of poor souls just couldn't understand it so they call it horrible or the worst. The intricate plot which is very layered becomes a very dangerous game in this political arena of deceit and deception. Three quarters through the film it finally dawned on me how it was all going to turn out. By the way, what happened to the original ghost writer? Well! Do the math!
