Like the first installment, the production values come across as kind of cheap. The build-up to the contest I found to be actually more interesting than the last hour of this film. This time, Katniss actually has to kill someone but, OF COURSE, only in self-defense. Donald Sutherland should win an Oscar for best beard. One of the competitors looks like Kristen Stewart (this must be an inside joke) Jennifer Lawrence should have been chosen as the new Wonder Woman; not the stringbean Gal Gadot (from Fast & Furious 6).
