    The Imitation Game

Before watching that film, I didn’t know that the inventor of computers, as we know them today (or as we may well know them in the future) was an Oxford mathematical genius. Thanks to one of his inventions, he was accountable for the shortening of WW II by two years. ‘The Imitation Game’ is a fascinating look at the life and work of Dr. Alan Turing – a complex man -- in which Benedict Cumberbatch and Kiera Knightley shine with all their acting mastery. Such a subject matter could have been abstract, dry or devoid of emotion. Yet, it is not so at all. To say more would be to reveal too much of this masterpiece.
