The other reviewer is correct, it's not a depressing documentary. And the reason for this is the subject herself; always looking for the good in life no matter the circumstances. I was drawn to her comment about how nothing interested her in life except music. It's a good philosophy: stick to what you love and as she emphasizes, work at it. Her observations about the intellectual level of the childhood home also struck a chord with me. I found it refreshing. A lot of great material in only 40 minutes. You can see this film on YouTube but I chose to support the local cinema instead.
