The Old Man and the Sea

Much like 2014's Lost at Sea with Robert Redford, Spencer Tracy plays an old man way out at sea trying to catch the really big fish in this perfect adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's perfect novel OLD MAN AND THE SEA! Tracey commanded the ocean for almost two hours and it netted him another Oscar Nomination. It worked wonderfully well, Hemingway themes littered throughout the film! The whole ending almost states directly the futility of so many things in life. Audiences today would not be able to sit through such a film, almost documentary in nature.
