Meh. It lacked real suspense. The soundtrack told whenever there would be a jump up scare. Overall it was a flat over-done story. There were too many "come on man" scenes. Hopkins who supposedly did "thousands" of exorcisms but could take YEARS to hear the name of the host devil... Guess how long the new guys takes... yeah... a minute and a half... I was left to wonder, "Is the devil a Christian? " because he/she only goes after Christians... Maybe the cure would be simply to become a Buddhist or Taoist... just saying Beezlebub...

Click here to show this comment. No the devil is not a Christian! If a person has a strong devotion to God then the Devil's attack can be fierce. Two examples would be Padre Pio who was greatly tormented by the Devil and Saint Gemma who was brutally attacked by him also.
