If you enjoyed the first Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, you'll probably enjoy this sequel to a similar degree. It's pretty much 2 more hours of the same thing; same hotel setting, pretty much the same characters and the same chaotic and entertaining scenes of everyday India. The first movie was better, as everything was novel. The sequel is enjoyable and charming, but it's just a repeat of the original. Dev Patel is still engaging and funny in his reprisal of his original role but, again, nothing new or different.
