An incredible movie. The acting was outstanding and the story truly amazing. Good reminder to people of the depth of the horrors of the Nazi regime. A must see.

The Nazis came to power because they had popular support. That support lasted until the end, and afterwards vast numbers who had supported the Nazis in committing the crimes that they said they would commit lied, pretending "we didn't know." The movie demonstrates the truth of how the Austrian government, knowing that the Klimt paintings had been stolen, fought tooth and nail to keep them and to block their return to the rightful owner. Yes, they knew. And crimes of great scale continue today. Yes, we know. What are we doing to stop them, and to help the victims?
