Fast-paced, frantic British comedy spoof generates laughs, but is also somewhat bewildering. Simon Pegg steals show as underachieving, hard-drinking 40 year old who can't seem to escape his Peter Pan phase. The peculiar genre shift in midstream is in keeping with Pegg and Frost's previous entries;namely, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. So, the special FX are ladled on and the thing slips into silliness as we get towards the end. However, still not a bad timewaster.
