This Is Where I Leave You

I thought this was going to be a comedy. Turns out it is more a drama than a comedy. Well written. I thought the writers certainly got what a family is all about. Yeah, there are arguments and teasing and everyone has some sort of stuff that isn't going right for them and everyone says they don't want to be around each other. But despite that there is an underlying love that comes through when it is needed as in most families. And all families are dysfunctional to some degree. This family was no different. I may not have laughed while watching this movie but I was touched. Also good ensemble acting by the entire cast. Wow. That was so good to see.
