    Total Recall

The original with Arnold Schwarzenegger is a better movie and more creative. IN this new version, there are many, many, many, many, many chase scenes, and likely some would be great in 3D it became tedious as the outcome was that the good guys become absolutely and COMPLETELY surrounded by bad guys once again-and they shoot their way out. There were just too many convenient outs for the good guys. The CGI was well done overall although this had the look of blade runner or any other cluttered/dirty/rainy/over-populated futuristic movie. The movie starts out very slowly and then after 30 minutes it goes into its chase after chase ad nausea. Blind leaps through buildings or from buildings unscathed. Close range shooting by the “star wars” robots that only seem to hit wall. Sometimes “less is more”. No story. No suspense. Don’t even rent this one…rent the original.
