A very absorbing science fiction film, perhaps because of a successful alien portrayal by the iconic and alluring Johansson amid a series of calm, patient snaring of victims. It is also hard not to be absorbed by the question of intent and even the nature the victim capture. As human feelings begin to evolve it is also an interesting, though not always successful interpretation. The issue of intent is left slightly in the air and open to the traditional view of aliens only as a danger. Not many layers to this film, so it can come across as looking for a little more direction.
