This great bio-pic on President Wilson was 20th Century Fox's biggest picture of 1944, but one that did not do that well at the box-office. It is a very sincere tribute to a great President who tried to set up the League of Nations following WW I, plus deal with his personal life as well. Unfortunately, Going my way totally eclipsed Wilson's star at the Oscar Celebrations, something Darryl F. Zannuck did not take too lightly. He felt he was robbed by the Academy. It's a good film without the charm of Going My Way!
