This is an entertaining and educational movie dealing with which is more powerful – words or pictures? Great comparative analysis between art and language on which has a bigger impact on life. The film also effectively deals with issues of deteriorating health, alcoholism, bullying, and purpose. The story appropriately mixes comedy in the midst of serious issues throughout the movie. The one main downside of the movie is the lack of chemistry between the two main characters played by Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche which makes it hard for the viewer to connect with them.
