They didn't spend much time developing the characters, even though it pushed 158 minutes. They rushed almost everything in this film, and it always feels as if the movie goes by in a flash. However, based on pure entertainment and fun, " Goblet of Fire" has it all. We get extremely good visual effects, and intense moments involving the Tri-wizard tournament. This was intense from start to finish. It was funny, sad, and magical. However, I thought they could've spent more time developing the characters, and developing the story because at times it felt as if Mike Newell was trying to rush the film as fast as possible. This could've been an extremely good Harry Potter movie if it wasn't rushed, and if they spent a little more time developing the plot. Other than that, this was definitely not disappointing. It was a blockbuster, and it was a whole bundle of fun from start to finish. No, I wasn't in love with it, but what I do believe is I thought it did a tremendous job on the dark side of things, and the scariness of the dark side of things. Mike Newell gave us a Voldemort character that was scary, evil, and badass. Even though I think they should've spent a bit more time on the development of characters, and the development in some of the very rushed scenes, " Goblet of Fire" was a fireball of fun. I always enjoy it, and no it's not the best movie of the series, but it's the Harry Potter that's purely meant just for fans to have fun with.
