There was so much big action, magic violence that it forgot what makes a powerfully magical Harry Potter film, and that is the smaller spells that this film didn't use. Because of that," Order of the Phoenix" felt almost weak. But really, this was without question the most exciting movie of the series. For the first time, we see what's going on outside of Hogwarts, and the threat that is brought to that. It's the first action movie of the series, and the only one until the final film. Yes, there are countless numbers of flaws, and complaints from fans of the books, yet what we have here is the most exciting, and fun movie of the 2007 summer. It's filled with tension, and packed with action. I truly believe this film could've been directed by someone else, and it could've been 20 minutes longer to fill in what this film missed out on from the book, and could've made it feel like a big, grand-scale Harry Potter film. Yet, it remains as an exciting blockbuster that's nothing special. The true point of the film is to bring in a new audience, and increase there fan-base by bringing in action-fans into the Harry Potter franchise. It did just that.
