A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night

An interesting film by a new director. Simple, low budget, of the Vampire genre, some nods to Miller, noir and Fright Night movies. At times almost an allegory, it's so calm and quiet. The black and white is well done, as are facial images and some social commentary visuals. The romance is very sensitively structured. Ana Lili Amirpour is a new Director to look for.
