If you want to see Bradley Cooper in a great role, see "Silver Linings Playbook"; if you want to see a great war movie, see "Unbroken". This one just didn't live up to the hype it surrendered in the previews.

Unbroken was a good movie, not really a war movie, WWII was simply a backdrop. It was more a movie of the human spirit, a harsh Chariots of Fire if you will. American Sniper is a war movie in the true sense of the genre. Bradley Cooper was brilliant in Silver Linings, he delivers again, no disappointments here, very worthy of his nomination.
Thank you. I totally agree. It could have been so much better.
