When I left this movie, I was going to rate it a "9" (8 for story and 10 for special effects) Looking back now, I have to give it a 10 just for the fact that it was the most visually entertaining movie I have ever experienced. The story is great, but I felt like I did when I first saw Star Wars in the theatre a long time ago. I had that feeling of sheer awe again. Thank you James Cameron for being so obsessed with detail. Something else strange happened as well. I found myself embarassed to be human because of our natural destructive tendencies, and I empathised with this alien being. It was a pretty powerful movie. A must-see in 3D in the theatre.
