It seems everybody is talking about Avatar nowadays. I went to see it thinking I might be disapointed for I'm not one that follows the hype. I was dead wrong. We all heard about the beautiful graphics, and I for one agree good graphics don't make a movie good. But it's more than just graphics, I'm talking about immersion. It's as if I wish I was part of Pandora, because the movie sure made me feel like I was there. Some say the story is good, some say it's lacking. The plot is very simple, and it's beautifully served to the audience. The message conducted in this movie is not new, but who cares because it's delivered in an innovative way. I didn't find the movie long at all even though it's close to 3 hours long. It is also ironic how many people like the ideology behind this movie, but how none of us work in ways to make it happen. I'm giving this movie a solid 8.5. If you want a movie that won't leave you indifferent, you have got to see Avatar. And remember to turn off your cellphone.
