One of the most creative films I've seen in a long while. A mix of fantasy, humour and solid dramatic opportunity. The long takes, following a scene to its completion were marvellous. Most characters, but the birdman, were dropped for the last third, which was a shame in Norton's case - he was brilliant, early. All the female cast were strong, but they were essentially male support. Keaton was very strong. Nice to see him given this opportunity.
