Scintillating comedy by Noel Coward about a man who remarries after his wife has passed on. Coward's play made the juiciest and joyous comedy to hit the West End, Broadway and then to film right on the heels of WW II. Charles Condomine, (Rex Harrison) has intentions of writing a book on spiritualism and so a "MEDIUM" (Margaret Rutherford) is summoned to the home on the evening of a dinner party. The out and out drollery and otherwise that ensues will keep you in stitches as things don't go exactly to plan. I guess someone might ask: "What does one do with two wives? " Complications galore ensue! It's remarkably funny with that English twist of humour. A humongous hit for David Lean, director.
