Tom Hanks and Alan Alda give stellar performances in Bridge of Spies in their respective roles, big and small. One has come to rely upon the consistent excellence of these 2 fine actors and they don't disappoint. The scene stealer of the evening though is Mark Rylance in the role of the Soviet exchange. It's his attitude that leaves you bound to his every word and gesture. Mark's acting is a piece of genuine magic which haunts me even the day after seeing this fine Steven Spielberg film. The musical score is a stand-out, an engaging musical journey, compelling from beginning to end.
