Borat left me with mixed feelings. It was creatively crude and funny in many parts, but he pushed it over the edge in a general movie theatre a little too far for my liking... and I'm definitely not a prude by any means. What I feel is wrong with movies like this is that they desensitize people to the darker side of human sexuality and should be rated as porn and not seen in regular movie theatre. Imagine how many kids will be able to get their hands on the video when it comes out!! If you look at people from other cultures who are not exposed to this, they have better values and respect for each other. I see a strong correlation between what the general public here sees on TV and the movies, to their bad behaviour. Anyway, Bruno could have done away with the whips and chains, the singing/dancing penis and the swingers in full action. I would have enjoyed it more. However, it definitely leaves one questioning what was real, what was staged and how in heck did he get access to some of those high profile people?.. and what would have happened if the presidential candidate dropped his pants too? Would we have seen that... or... what did they catch on film that they didn't or couldn't show us? Hmmm?
