Carol

It is a slow moving love story between 2 women who are in transition: Carol, a well-healed bisexual is getting divorced from her husband who is withholding her daughter from her and Therese is a young shop girl whose boyfriend wants to get married and go with her on a trip to Europe. She does not know what she wants. Therese states she says she says yes to everything, though she says no to two men and brings up the topic of love between 2 men after she meets Carol. Both are fine performances and both characters have some decisions to make in the lesbian unfriendly 50's before the possibility of a reconciliation presents itself.
