Dull acting, an irredeemable collection of morally-warped or downright sociopathic characters, cliched storyline, highly improbable events - these elements of the movie make it one huge stinker! It ended up being a long series of events where bad people do bad things to each other. Mark's character was supposed to be the "hero," forced into immoral, criminal acts by the foolish, criminal choices of his young brother-in-law. But at the end of the movie he happily profits from his illegal smuggling, exposing just how thinly veneered his desire to go straight really is. It also stuns me that Mark's character was willing to put his wife and young children in extreme jeopardy in order to extricate a criminal in-law from the consequences of his criminal acts. Pretty screwed-up priorities and values, if you ask me! But this is par for the course in Hollywood where what is evil is often praised as good. Stay away from this miserable flick!
