Habib Faisal excels at wrapping an important social message into an entertaining and unbelievable movie. I say unbelievable in the most complimentary way possible. Parineeti plays a strong young girl tired of the dowry system she and her dad face in countless meetings with prospective grooms and their families. So she takes matters into her own hands and devises a scheme to punish the most greedy ones. But when she meets her match in Aditya Roy Kapoor things obviously go topsy turvy. The cast is awesome and the pacing is quick. Parineeti carries the movie and you root fir Aditya when he finally arrives. The director has invested a fair amount of research in getting the technicalities of the film including the settings for the scenes natural and I really enjoyed that. Of course, it might all have still been shot on fabricated sets but I rarely got the contrived feeling. The ending might be too feel good for some in the audience, but it was needed.
