Marion Cotillard's performance had depth and honesty... But for the first half of the film I thought that I'd never hire her back due to her emotional fragility. I was not impressed with the directing. The film moved too slow at times... And there was a lot lost in the English translation... I was glad by the end of the film that Cotillard's character redeemed herself... this helped me to re-connect and finally root for her. "But the film overall was quite lackluster.."
