Quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. A The American wannabe. Unfortunately Gosling lacks the maturity and acting skills that Clooney has. Good effort but he is not quite there yet. Because there is so little dialogue, it takes great acting to give you a sense of the characters. No one in the movie aside from the two gangster bosses really gave a credible performance. Ironically, they probably said more than all the other characters combined. The characters never really seem to be flushed out. And the music was so bad it was beyond believe. Not only that the music that was supposed to relay suspense was at the wrong time. Wrong music for the wrong time. To top it all off, the cinematography was all wrong as well. The people who made this movie from the producer to the director to the camera men, to the actors all got it wrong. This movie was boring, boring, boring. Do not waste your money.

Why would you give it a 1/10, if you said there were credible performances? If you give it a 1/10, it means you hated every last thing about. There's no logic in your review at all.
I do see what you are getting at. But only people who have the insight to recognize what truly makes a good movie will tell you that this movie is an instant classic. It was risky making this movie this way. But Drive gives us a strong visual, full of power and nastiness through the development of the main substantial component of violence. This movie sway's and paces itself out poorly. But this is exemplary. I know people will hate this. But this movie is like the Coen brothers wrote a script for a Quentin Tarantino film. Not everyone's cup of tee.
