The problem with sci-fi artificial intelligence movies is that they depend upon obfuscation and two dimensional scripts to make their point, or lack thereof. This film is no different. What we do learn along the way is how mind-numbingly boring the computer industry and its nerdy people really are, no hearts, no feelings, no intelligence oddly enough, nothing but abstract numbers and creepy dreams. Only a grade-F type of personality would let himself and his brain be sexually massaged by a machine and call that love; could enjoy this silly nonsense and sexist is only an added thought. One could make a lot or very little out of the plot herein since it has no apparent ending that explains anything at all, it simply ends leaving the audience hanging and to draw their own conclusions as I have done here.
