I found it a strong film certainly more than "Noah". Both leads were good and Bale blended into his role as the film moved. These kinds of movies always generate "crappy" reviews so it's not a huge surprise but some of us are glad that nearly 70 years have passed and Hollywood isn't bound by society so much anymore. Audiences have matured. No one here mentioned the use of the term B. C. E. at the onset of the film. It was not meant a re-run of anything.
