Most likely the best of the series and somewhat believable as opposed to all the others. We are led to believe that John is a retired hitman and after losing his wife to illness she gifted John a dog just before she died so that he wouldn't be alone and would have something to love. John ends up getting into an altercation with some young Russian punks one of whom later turns out to be the son of a Russian gangster. After feeling insulted by John these Russian punks end up killing John's dog and stealing his vintage car. This understandable upsets John, who would've guessed. John then goes full revenge mode on the Russian punks and what follows is a very entertaining violent revenge flick if not all that realistic.
