This movie is excellent in many respects. It is family friendly but not a corny kids movie. It shows a piece of history with an interesting story. It covers some of the awkward moments of childhood and difficulties while growing up many encounter. I covers bias and prejudice and how people jump to conclusions like "Crash" and "American Beauty" did. A great movie that will stir anyone who sees it!
