This film is similar to Black Hawk Down, in that it's based on a true story and is not afraid to show you in graphical detail the horrors of modern-day warfare. It also straddles the line between honoring the bravery of the Navy SEALs and questioning the purpose of war. On a technical level, it's a well-made film and the combat scenes will leave an impression. With the exception of Mark Wahlberg, the acting is a bit flat. Whereas BHD is a 9/10, this movie's an 8. Still worth watching if the subject matter appeals to you.
