This film can be recognized as a Woody Allen film from its time setting and location setting in France mid the glimmering madness of the jazz age as backdrop. It's also another one of Woody's comedies that explores the difference between what lies in our minds and what, in fact, is known to the heart. It's an enchanting romantic comedy that is good... but Woody has done better.
