A good film but, to my mind, not a great one. Disney has released some outstanding nature films, the last one being "Chimpanzee" in 2012 which I considered a worthy successor 1953's "The Living Desert" and 1954's "The Vanishing Prairie"."Money Kingdom" is good but the producers have chosen, unfortunately and unnecessarily, to amp up the cute factor. Maybe that decision will make the film more appealing to children, but to my mind it is a cheap attempt at short-term gratification at the expense of longer-term greatness. But credit where credit is due: the cinematography is outstanding.
