The most intelligent performance in this movie was that of Julia Roberts - she wasn't in it! To the people who loved this film, all power to you - I respect your opinions and I am pleased that you feel you got your money's worth. However, I don't even think this film would be worth sitting through even if it was on TV. The first film was slick, fast-paced and well-edited with snappy one-liners throughout. This latest installment was a poorly constructed patchwork that has to be one of the dullest caper movies ever made. It moves at the pace of a PowerPoint presentation of your grandmother's vacation photos. Had this been on TV I would have changed channels part way through. Compare this to "The Sting" or "The Italian Job" (either version) or "Ocean's Eleven" and you'll understand what I mean.
