I watched the trailer for this movie on TV and predicted the whole thing. I went and in the opening scenes went oh yeah, this is happening this way and it fits into my ending theories. And clue by clue it continued to fit. I’m not sure, if I followed it better because I was always on the right track. I’m not sure if I liked it more because I was able to predict it. Usually it’s the opposite, a movie that is too predictable I won’t like. Sure, the dream sequences are a bit squeamish. But I liked that it dealt with real life issues and not the usual happily ever after stuff of the typical Hollywood writers. As an aside, I was fascinated about the fixation several psychotic patience had with the threat of the 1950’s Hydrogen Bomb. A combination of paranoia conspiracy and helplessness feelings (our governments built it and will destroy the world with it so nothing else matter as we will all die anyway)
