As always the case with Bond movie opening sequences, this one was kick ***. I loved the use of the rooftops with the motorcycles. But then, the film got quite boring and dreary for an hour as the action got replaced by slow pacing. Once the villain is introduced and the cat and mouse game ensues, the pace picks up though, and tons of fun returns. Judi Dench was amazing as was Javier Bardem as the villain. I also thought the cinematography was brilliantly over the top. Makes me want to visit Turkey and Scotland. This flick is really meant for cinemas though. I am certain I would not enjoy it as much at home.
