This story of four small time hoodlums is not Woody Allen at his best. It has its moments of humour, but big chunks of the film are devoid of funny business and for that matter anything else. I'm just now seeing this so-called caper from way back. It's one of Woody's lesser efforts. It seems Woody either makes masterpieces or downright mediocre films. He has had a number of disasters along with his canon of brilliant films.
