A tight script and direction but seems contrived. How many bad things can happen to a war hero who is reduced to an otherwise ordinary Joe's incredibly boring and average life? Not many laughs in this movie, Murray's character is not a likeable person, one could almost say Bill is that guy, so completely does he inhabit the role. The movie seemed short, as if the writer ran out of ideas, or perhaps it was longer than it should have been, not Murray's best work.
