A really good film. A wonderful plot, with really good actors. Viola Davis, in (what should be) the title role of Abileen Clark, deserves an Oscar nomination. But let there be no doubt that this is "civil rights lite". One gets a taste of the kinds of incidents that occurred, but I strongly suspect that the real thing was much more gritty and brutal. I also suspect that the living conditions for the "the help" were much worse than are shown in this film. But go and see it; it is a good story.
