I have mix reaction to this movie. As for as the movie itself, it was intense enough. Good special effects, great actors. But where I have a problem, it's the novel itself!!! Suppose to be aimed at teens. What kind of society are we getting to when a novel depict teens killing each other for sport or tv ratings. The film does not bring any message whatsoever and the only thing we really are witnessed to is a society living in richness while its citizens live in extreme poverty. I hope the second film brings answers to this film because at this point in time, it's a free, violent and insignificant demonstration of extreme barbaric killings. A return to what the roman were 2000 years ago. If this is the legacy of what to come, Houston we have a problem. I know, I know this is a novel but who is sick enough to think about this type of scenario and aimed this novel to teens.
