    The Princess Bride

In the opening scene, Peter Falk (Grandfather/narrator) attempts to promote the film verbally to his on-screen grandson and us in the audience by saying it is about "fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles". He neglects to mention 'delightfully droll'.
