This has easily got to be Atom Egoyan's best and most powerful film with great work from Sarah Polley and Ian Holm who should have received an Oscar Nomination. Egoyan did very well for himself getting Oscar Nominations both for writing and for Best Direction. It's a tremendously hard film to view in lieu of the major theme of loss and its aftermath. Probably the Best Canadian Film ever made.
