    The Walk

I literally was down my seat or below my seat... somewhere really far from the screen anyway because at some point I couldn't watch or breathe anymore. I was scared to death during the walk and in some of the prep work scenes. I was debating if I should close my eyes or be brave and watch what's gonna happen next because I knew it all went well at the end so the guy could tell his story. Anyhow excellent story put on the big screen and great cast. Joseph Gordon Levitt is a real genius and I hope he gets nominated.

Palomaarts... You took the words right out of my head, This is exactly how I experienced the movie too. At one point I was lying on my seat in a L shape with my knees touching the seat in front of me. I could not bear to watch but at the same time felt captivated by the urge not to miss a second of it. I loved the story telling technique with the twin towers as a backdrop while he narrated from the top of the Statue of Liberty. The ending got me when he read what his ticket pass said..."forever". I thought it would have been brilliant if when they panned from Phillippe to the twin towers, instead of them standing there, they were now suddenly gone. I absolutely loved this movie in every respect. And now I am going to research the real event and compare it to the movie. 10/10.
