I had high hopes for this movie, given the solid cast. If you appreciated Little Miss Sunshine, then this film will give you the same amazing insights into flawed family dynamics and the struggles of each family member. Every cast member thoroughly understood their character and made them very real. This is not a smooth Hollywood portrayal - it's raw, uncomfortable to watch at times but completely real. The growth process for each character is wonderful to watch. Don't go if you're looking for action and adventure. This is a thoughtful, grown up kind of movie - and needs to be savored.
